Motel 8 Maricopa

I woudl ve been inclined to give a good review, but the ice machine barely functions, and really, who doesn't offer coffee fixings? I had to wait forever for someone to check on that! As someone who has traveled plenty, I expected a kettle in my room or at least a complimentary gesture. Not impressed at all.

The hotel was in a remote location in the desert.

Fairly clean and fine accom with favourable and peaceful location really close to Bakersfield, the jobsite and the coast. Fairly nice stay, as always.

This low budget hotel offers plenty of good-sized and well-appointed rooms. Good setting, it's really close to the jobsite, the desert, and Bakersfield. Also, Maricopa Trading Post is just a short distance away😃👍

Had a good experience during our one-night stay while visiting the nearby attractions. The room was huge and had everything we needed, including a mini-fridge and microwave, which made things easier for our family. I appreciated the fast check-in process, and after a long day exploring, it was great to relax in a spacious room that felt comfortable.

The chairs showed wear and had old stains, indicating a need for some deep cleaning. Expect some minor water damage in the bathroom and thin, small linens that don't exactly scream luxury. Noise from trucks in the morning can be irritating, and don't count on coffee in your room-bring your own supplies.

Large, clean room with comfy beds, tv, and nice amenities like a microwave and fridge. Convenience of a private bathroom and ample towels. Love the air conditioning for hot days. Perfect for a quick stop between destinations!

I stayed for 2 nights and was amazed at how clean and comfy my room was at motel 8. The added fridge and microwave were super convenient for my stay. It was surprisingly quiet despite being near a busy highway.

It was just a reliable pick for a brief retreat in Maricopa with very good value for money. Smooth check-in made settling in easy right away. Bring your own coffee supplies since there's none provided in the room.
